CARRIE J. LIN
Painting has become my major interest and passion after I retired from Pfizer, I enjoy nature; the flowers and the surrounding landscape are my favorite painting subjects.
My other hobbies include Chinese painting and gardening with a special affection for orchids and bonsai.
For the last six years, as a member of the Plein Air Artist of West Michigan, outdoor landscape painting has become the Primary focus. Many of these paintings are included in the Painted Sanctuary annual Calendar issued by the Southwest Land Conservancy
In addition to a member of the Plein Air association, I also belong to the Southwest Michigan Watercolor Society and the Battle Creek Society of Art.
My paintings have been displayed throughout Southwest Michigan including venues such as: Three Rivers Regional juried Art Show, Kalamazoo Art Hop, and Battle Creek Art Center.
